It's a Vietnames Baguette filled with salad and pate and ham.
Bánh mì (pronounced [ˈbʌn mi] in English. Sometimes it is also referred to as a "Vietnamese hoagie". It is a Vietnamese submarine sandwich, made with a French-inspired baguette. It is filled up with thinly sliced, pickled carrots, daikon, onions, cilantro, barbecued pork, paté, chicken and other meats and slices of cut-red chili.
Yummilious. I can eat 2 of these. And this is lunch today.

U know what !! This is one of my fav too. Never fail to grab a few when I am there. Tried making a replica..but failed terribly. Maybe I don't have their pickles.
I am not a fan of the pâté.
I always dig out mine & spread them on hub's sub.
I think I have the recipe for the pickle. Let me go search. But the pate is the reason why this is unique.
You can never recreate this one. However, I can help you get them in Footscray and Springvale tomorrow. Ha ha haaaa..
