Vista

Just got a new computer. A Dell. The salesman at the counter at Suntec City told me it's the latest and the best configuration that I can get off Dell. Cost about $3k. Bought a printer for $90 and it will get you a speaker and web-cam. Though we have recently bought a HP 3-in-1 printer, that man of mine bought it too. Sigh... man...

Anyway, the computer was delivered shortly after Chinese New Year. My IT brother who visiting from Melbourne set it up. And I get to use it.

This new computer is using Microsoft VISTA.

I HATED it. I hate Vista. Reason? It's not competible with any of my equipment. The driver software for my HP printer, my web-cam, my newly bought Creative MP3, and the list goes on...

Luckily I could download the software driver for HP from their website and it work.
We tried Creative and though they have the files for us to download, but it doesn't work. Can you believe it? It doesn't work. I still have problem with the web-cam. Sigh... Sigh...

I was bitching why can't we use XP? Hubby's answer is New Computer = VISTA. That's what they give you. Sigh... And to think you need have a 2GB of Memory or something like that to operate a VISTA. And I get this?!

I hate to be the Guinea pig.

Okay, apart from this software incompatibility, I do like a few features about this VISTA.

Very APPLE

When I have firefox or IE or if I have a few tabs on, I can just place the mouse and see what website I have. Hahahaha!!! Like I can forget. LOL.

As I use this vista, I will continue to update what I like and dislike about it. Hopefully things will improve soon.
